Why Navoty?
Lots of times, you don't have the manpower or the time to worry about implementation details. It makes sense to hire someone with solid experience, and no matter how big or small, Navoty can solve your problem while keeping you in the loop. We pride ourselves on being an open consulting company. Here's what that means to you:
- We're language agnostic. If someone asks us to write a web application, and then says "we really only know PHP and need a hand," then we'll use PHP (or Ruby or Java or Perl or C). No problem. We want to leave our clients with something they can work with later.
- We embrace open source. We participate in open source communities, but more importantly, we actively seek out new open source products to use in our projects. Since easily 80% of the functionality required by most web applications has already been invented, it's much better to just pull that code from the community than to charge you for time spent reinventing the wheel.
- We're *extremely* open. Most software shops will boast some form of an agile methodology, and then tell their clients about demos every 3-6 weeks. We don't do that. We expose the application to you as soon as possible, so you get to offer feedback from an early state. We make lots of small decisions, always with you in mind, and usually with your immediate input. This means that we never get far away from what *you* want.
With Navoty, you'll be met with regularly (read: at least once a week) to be given demos of new functionality and to offer feedback. We won't approach your solution with a closed-source mindset, saving you time and money. And we're not going to evangelize a language when it's clear that it doesn't fit all of your needs.
